I created Future U Financial to be a pioneer in the Advice Only financial planning movement. With commission free trades available on several platforms, I removed the barrier of being sold a financial product from the equation with a new service model on the same traditional business of financial planning and wealth management. This time with you in control. We prioritize suitability, your best interest, and education.

How We Work Together

Information

The faster we can gather information regarding your personal financial situation the quicker we can add value. Often times just a few minutes of our time can create a tremendous amount of long term value for you and your family.

We will take the information any way you'd like to present it. The fastest and cleanest way for us is for you to securely link your financial accounts through one of our secure software providers. However, we are agnostic regarding which investment platform you use or how you'd like to share your information. Our only goal is to make sure you are comfortable, safe, and we are adding value.

Financial Plan & Investment Review

After discussing your situation, deciding on an initial scope of work, signing a client agreement, and receiving our required disclosures we will present our findings of your current financial progress as well as recommendations for the future.

Typically initial recommendations will be limited in scope until after the presentation. Once we have a better idea of how you'd like to proceed we will tailor our strategy, communication calendar, and service package based off your needs.

Ongoing vs "As Needed" Clients

Currently we offer two service packages:

We spend a minimum of 15 minutes per month and bill you at the end of the month for services rendered. You are welcome to give us a time cap or range (budget).
We only look at your account when you request us to do so, then bill for the time actually spent on your account.

Market Philosophy

Often times a passive approach can be the best approach. This is not always in Wall Street's best interest. As the adage goes "the soap gets smaller the more you play with it".

We believe in a Warren Buffet style of passive portfolio management. However, we do offer tactical and strategic ideas when and where we feel it is in your best interest.

Portfolio returns will be subject to market fluctuations, your risk tolerance, investment return goals, needs, and personal preference for market securities. We simply offer our guidance, recommendations, and ideas based on what we believe to be in your best interest.
